How it works for the purchaser
-
Business, corporations, schools, and nonprofit organizations may participate
-
The employer names the five employees to become professional members. Each employee must be qualified for AWC membership and must have a least two years of experience as a communications professional.
-
Memberships are international; members may be in one location or throughout the world.
-
Because the employer purchased the memberships, a substitution may be made in the event an employee leaves. (A former member who was a member by virtue of employment may purchase a personal membership without paying the application fee.)
-
Group plan members may join local chapters at prevailing rates.
-
Applicants should use a separate membership application for each member, but submit the forms all at the same time with the accompanying payment (check or credit card).
