Marketing Communication

  1. Alliance to Save Energy, in Washington, DC, is seeking a Communications Assistant for full-time permanent work.

    Job description: Work on award-winning energy efficiency multimedia campaigns -- pitching stories to media and PSAs to TV and radio public affairs directors. Prepare RFPs, vendor and consultant contracts, and financial forms for funding proposals. Track finances. Coordinate printing and work with various vendors.

    Job skills: Strong writing, editing, media pitching, financial, and administrative skills required to write/edit newsletters, draft reports to funders, track media and campaign results on Excel database, create and maintain media databases. Must send writing samples & cover letter. Other requirements: Accuracy, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks on deadline. Degree in journalism, communications or equivalent.
