Openings on the AWC-DC Board of Directors for Program Year 2002—2003

AWC-DC invites you to join the Board of Directors for the 2002 to 2003 program year (September 2002 through June 2003. If you are interested in one of the following open positions on the Board, submit your nomination (you may nominate yourself) today! Newsletter Editor
Our newsletter for the 2002-2003 program year is published quarterly, each issue features a specific topic aimed at keeping members informed of new trends and ideas in the field. Our newsletters are designed to compliment the main focus of our programs during the year. Our newsletter editor is always on the look-out for articles from members and news in the field of communications.

The chapter also publishes an annual membership directory with contact numbers, e-mail addresses, and fields of endeavor.


Vice President, Operations
Assists with administration of programs and projects including program announcements and registration, and helps facilitate chapter activities overall.

Vice President, Special Publications
Manages development and editing of special publications including the Matrix Awards program and related publications, and the AWC-DC member directory.

Nomination Requirements: Nominations should consist of a brief (no more than 150 words) description of your experience and interest in the position, your contact information including daytime phone number and e-mail address.
