Speakers: Edward Lundquist, ABC, creator and editor the “Job of the Week” (JOTW) newsletter and Connie Cordovilla, editor of the “Washington Union Women's List”

How do you start a successful e-mail newsletter? How can you improve your current e-mail communications? Edward Lundquist, ABC, creator and editor the “Job of the Week” (JOTW) newsletter and Connie Cordovilla, editor of the “Washington Union Women's List”, will address these questions and others on Wednesday, February 25 at Tivoli Restaurant in Arlington, VA. Networking will begin at 6:00 p.m followed by dinner and program.

The free “Job of the Week” e-mail newsletter has over 6,000 subscribers, and is growing rapidly. JOTW won an IABC District 3 "Winner's Circle" award of excellence for interactive communications and is a two-time honorable mention in FastCompany magazine's "Fast 50" awards. Lundquist will discuss his goals and intent for the newsletter, which targets professional communicators.

Connie Cordovilla, the associate director of the Human Rights and Community Relations Department of the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) AFL-CIO developed the “Washington Union Women’s List” as a means to communicate with labor union women in the Washington area. Cordovilla will discuss the list development, target audience and evaluation process to determine an e-mail campaign’s success.
