Topic: A Brighter Tomorrow for Women and Children

The impact of communications can be far-reaching, especially when used for the greater good. Sarah Armstrong, director of A Brighter Tomorrow for Africa Foundation, will shed some light on how she made the connection between a career in communications and creating a better life for women and children in Sierra Leone. Please join us for this inspiring talk and an evening of networking in a magnificent setting!

About Sarah Armstrong

Starting her career in New York and Washington, DC in corporate advertising, Sarah Armstrong quickly learned she needed to find more meaning in her work. For twenty years, she then applied her business and corporate savvy to national non-profits through account service at Porter-Novelli and as director of Organizational Relations at AARP. In recent years, Sarah found it was time to branch out on her own and began her own consultancy called Mosaic Company, which focuses on social marketing and communications for non-profit organizations. Simultaneously, Sarah began to study Africa and decided to explore Sierra Leone, which is rated by the UN as the lowest on the Human Development Index, and has since launched A Brighter Tomorrow for Africa Foundation to improve the conditions for women and children.
